Nutrition

The American College of Lifestyle Medicine promotes a plant-predominant diet rich in fruits and vegetables. Eating unprocessed foods is a key part of preventing and reversing chronic conditions such as:

  • Type II Diabetes

  • Obesity

  • Cardiovascular Disease

  • Kidney Disease

What does plant-predominant mean?

A plant-predominant diet is rich in fruits, vegetables, and unprocessed food. You do not necessarily have to fully commit to a plant-based diet in order to see health results. Any changes to include more plant-based whole foods will be beneficial. The more steps taken towards a whole food plant-based diet the better! View ACLM resources below to see how you can incorporate healthy changes to your diet.
